LiFire readings are provided for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, financial, legal or psychological advice, and they do not predict future events. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

That paragraph is the whole disclaimer in one breath. The rest of this page explains what we mean by each part of it, because a disclaimer that nobody reads is not much of a disclaimer.

What a reading is

A reading is a description of tendencies, themes and cycles, derived from the moment you were born. It is a way of looking at your own character and patterns from the outside, in a symbolic language that has been used in China for about two thousand years. It is a mirror, not a schedule.

What a reading is not

• It is not a prediction of events. We do not tell you what will happen, when it will happen, or who will cause it. Cycles described as "favourable" or "quiet" describe emphasis and timing in a tradition — not appointments in your future.
• It is not medical advice. Nothing in a reading diagnoses, treats or prevents any condition. If you have a health concern, see a doctor.
• It is not psychological or psychiatric advice. A reading is not therapy and is not a substitute for it. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or an emergency service in your country.
• It is not financial advice. We do not recommend investments, assets, business decisions or the movement of money. Any decision about money is yours, and you should take it with an appropriately licensed adviser.
• It is not legal advice. Nothing in a reading should be relied on in any legal or contractual matter.
• It is not a remedy service. We do not sell amulets, talismans, crystals, cures or "activations", and we do not claim that any object changes your chart.

Accuracy depends on what you give us

Your Four Pillars chart is arithmetic: it depends entirely on your date, time and place of birth. If the time is wrong, the Hour Pillar is wrong, and anything we read from that pillar will be wrong too. If your birthplace is wrong, the time zone and the true solar time correction are wrong. We mark clearly on every reading where the input was incomplete or approximate. Please check the details on your order before you rely on the result.

Cultural context

The Four Pillars system (BaZi) is a traditional Chinese framework. It is not a science, it is not empirically validated, and we do not present it as either. We present it honestly as what it is: a coherent symbolic system with a long history, which many people find genuinely useful for thinking about themselves.

No guaranteed outcomes

We make no promise that a reading will produce any particular result, insight, feeling, or change in your life. What you take from it is yours.

Your responsibility

You are an adult and the decision-maker in your own life. Whatever your reading says, the choices remain yours, and so do their consequences. We do not accept responsibility for decisions made after reading a reading.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a reading is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

• 它不是财务建议。我们不推荐任何投资、资产、商业决策或资金安排。一切与金钱有关的决定都由您自己作出，并应咨询具备相应牌照的顾问。

准确性取决于您提供的信息

您的四柱排盘是纯计算：完全取决于您的出生日期、时间与地点。如果时辰有误，时柱就有误，基于时柱得出的所有解读也会随之出错。如果出生地有误，时区与真太阳时校正也会出错。凡输入信息不完整或为近似值的地方，我们都会在解读中明确标注。在依赖结果之前，请先核对订单中的信息。

文化背景

四柱（八字）是一套中国传统体系。它不是科学，也没有经过实证检验，我们也不把它当作科学来呈现。我们如实呈现它的本来面貌：一套延续久远、内在自洽的象征系统，很多人确实从中获得了理解自己的帮助。

不保证任何结果

我们不承诺解读一定会带来某种特定结果、洞见、感受或生活变化。您从中得到什么，就是您的。

您的责任

您是成年人，也是自己人生的决策者。无论解读怎么说，选择始终属于您，后果也属于您。我们不承担您阅读解读之后所作决定的责任。

责任限制

在法律允许的最大范围内，我们就单次解读相关索赔所承担的全部责任，以您为该解读支付的金额为上限。本免责声明不限制依法不得限制的责任，包括欺诈，以及因我方过失导致的人身伤亡。
